Sircali zinc target: 3.4 % Zn from 12-42 m |
A new target was identified 11 km SE of the Yenipazar orebody: Sircali, where one of two test drill holes yielded an intersection of 3.4 % Zn from 12-42 m. Mineralization is related to a 900-m-long and steeply dipping, IP-chargeable zone, identified with geophysics (see Aldridge news release from April 2, 2007). More detailed geophysical work has been carried out in Summer 2007, confirming a dip of about 70°. A follow-up hole under the zone with 3.4 % Zn identified the down-dip extension of this ore shoot at 52-54 m, with 2 m @ 7.3 % Zn, 4.2 % Pb.
