Vancouver, British Columbia – March 9, 2009: Charles Raymond, Chairman of Aldridge Minerals Inc. (“Aldridge” or the “Company”) advises that certain conditions precedent in regard to the acquisition of Valhalla Resources Ltd. were not satisfied and, accordingly, the Company will not be proceeding with the acquisition as previously announced on December 19, 2008. Mr. Raymond stated that the decision not to proceed should not be interpreted as a reflection on the merits of the properties but was a result of the current economic conditions effecting the financial viability of the acquisition.
