Vancouver, B.C.: Aldridge Minerals Inc. (“Aldridge”) is pleased to announce that it acquired a further 15 exploration licenses with potential for lateritic nickel mineralization.
Three of these licenses are located in the area of Aldridge’s previous acquisitions at Gurlek and Ayranci (release from August 9, 2006), and enlarge the ground position in that area by 8.43 km2.
Further 12 licenses, covering a total area of 119.33 km2, were acquired elsewhere in western Turkey for nickel-prospective laterites. Turkish nickel-laterites are generally perceived as favorable for leaching because of the relatively low clay content. Dr. Martin S. Oczlon, PhD Geo, a director of Aldridge and a Qualified Person as such term is defined in NI-43-101, has reviewed and verified the technical content of this release. Aldridge is active in the exploration and development of gold and base metal projects in Turkey.
