7,000 m Drill Program on the Yenipazar Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn Property, Turkey

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Aldridge Minerals Inc. ("Aldridge") (Frankfurt WKN: A0CAPB, TSX.V: AGM) is pleased to announce that it has finalized all preparations for a 7,000 m reverse circulation ("RC") drill program at the polymetallic Yenipazar project in central Turkey (the "Yenipazar Project"). Aldridge anticipates that the RC drill program will commence sometime in late June, 2006.

As per Aldridge's National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101") compliant Technical Report dated January 15, 2006, the inferred resources reported within the optimized open pit shell is 4,705,000 tonnes @ 1.66 g/t Au, 35.6 g/t Ag, 0.45 % Cu, 1.44 % Pb and 1.64 % Zn. Aldridge believes the metamorphic nature and resulting coarse grain size will facilitate the extraction of ore minerals. Aldridge will also conduct experiments for gravitational pre-concentration in the Yenipazar Project.

Aldridge has also completed a geophysical survey (IP) on several locations within a radius of 12 km from the inferred resource and identified chargeability anomalies that may be related to further sulphide mineralization.

The forthcoming drill program will be conducted on a 40 x 40 m infill grid to outline an indicated resource and to test the open northern and southern extensions of the ore body. Several holes will be drilled on untested geophysical anomalies. Recovered RC-pulps shall be used for metallurgical test work. All results shall be summarized in a NI 43-101 compliant, independent Preliminary Economic Analysis for development of the Yenipazar Project.

Dr. Martin S. Oczlon, PhD Geo, a director of Aldridge and a Qualified Person as such term is defined in NI 43-101, has reviewed and verified the technical content of this release.

Aldridge is active in the exploration and development of gold and base metal projects in Turkey.
